In Michael Jackson’s Shoes

Have you been watching all of the press on Michael Jackson’s life and death?  I don‘t think anyone would disagree with the fact that for the majority of his life, he was a tremendous role model for what it means to be in the flow.  He demonstrated for us what it looks like to be a master creator.  Everyone that has spoken on his behalf talked about how he knew what he wanted, and he most often got it.  He was a master of focus.

I am left wondering how many people, if given the chance, would choose to live in his shoes.  He is a person who was blessed enough to live the highest of highs and perhaps the lowest of lows.  The question is would you take the lows if you knew you would get to experience the highs?

What are we more afraid of in life?  Are we more afraid to live a life where we never experience success and flow?  Or, are we more afraid to live a life where we experience the greatest levels of success and contribution and perhaps also meet with so called failures?

What do you think Michael Jackson would say now?  Despite the problems of Michael’s life, he left his mark on the world.  He showed us both sides of what can happen when you get your vibration moving at rapid speeds.  Do you think his journey was worth the pitfalls that he experienced later?

I, for one, think his journey was incredibly worthwhile!  Without brave people like Michael, we would never know what is possible.  I feel blessed to have seen what it looks like when creative energy runs unrestricted through a human being.
