Vibrate Your Desire

Today, I was watching the recording of an Oprah show from last week where she discussed the topic of our poor economy and how this happened. I decided I wanted to write about this topic and the law of attraction. There is so much fear and panic around this issue that I wanted to offer a perspective on how not to plug in to it. My own technique is to pretend that it is just a movie. I am just an observer – it isn’t real – and I can change the channel at any time. In this particular instance, as I pretended, I wondered what kind of thought would bring this kind of manifestation about. I couldn’t believe the simplicity of the answer to my question! We have to remind ourselves that “HOW” our desire will be manifested is not our job! We have made credit the how to get our desires met and have stopped imagining that our desires can come in many, many wonderful ways – ways that can truly dazzle us – and ways that do not put us into debt.

Example 1: Not letting the universe provide the HOW

I really want to go out to dinner and have a really expensive meal
I can’t do it, I don’t have the money
I could use my credit card to pay
I’ll have the money later

Example 2: The universe provides the HOW

I really want to go out to dinner and have a really expensive meal

I’m really in the mood to go to “your favorite restaurant.” I love the atmosphere there. The people are so friendly and helpful. I really have a taste for the filet mignon and one of their award winning desserts. The music in the background always gives me the best feeling. I sure love to go that restaurant.

A friend calls you on the phone and says he wants to take you out for dinner at your favorite restaurant to thank you for the nice thing you did to help him out.

The next time you have a desire and you immediately want to use credit to meet your desire – catch yourself – and decide to have some fun with the universe.
